Is there a fee for participating?
No; the program is free.


How long does it take to complete Get Fit on Route 66?
You'll move at your own pace along Route 66. For every minute of activity you log, your car will move 1 mile along the route.


Does Get Fit on Route 66 involve special exercise routines or equipment?
No. The goal of the program is to support your efforts to be more active - whether it's walking, running, cycling, lifting weights, or any of the 66 activities highlighted in the program.


What if I want to do an activity other than the 66 in the program?
That's fine. anything that gets you moving, increases your heart rate, and works your muscles counts toward the goal.


Will I lose weight participating in Get Fit on Route 66?
Many people do, but that's not the main goal. Studies show that people who are active are more likely to maintain a healthy weight than those who are inactive. Being active offers numerous other health benefits, including: Reduced heart disease risk, decreased cancer risk, less stress, better blood glucose control, slower aging process, emotional, psychological boost, better sleep.


How do I discontinue daily emails?
Sign in, click the My Profile link at bottom of the screen, uncheck daily email.


What happens to my personal information?
No personal information is reviewed independently. All data is compiled and stored in a secured database and will be reviewed in the aggregate by Health Enhancement Systems staff for program evaluation purposes. (For more details, see our Privacy Statement.)
